Something broken right now? 1-855-OPSWORQ Get help →
How it works

We don’t start with technology. We start with how the work moves.

Six stages. The first two are the ones most providers skip, and they are the reason the rest works.

01

Discover

Understand how the organization actually works. Not what the org chart says. Not what management thinks happens. What actually happens.

What actually happens

  • Interview every department, not just leadership
  • Map the processes people really follow
  • Map where information originates and where it stalls
  • Map the technology, including what nobody admits to using
  • Map the dependencies between teams
  • Map the bottlenecks, the costs, and the risks
  • Map the opportunities nobody has had time to chase

The gap between how a business is described and how it runs is where the money goes.

02

Design

Redesign the organization around better information and workflow — before automating anything.

What actually happens

  • Ask whether the process should exist in this form at all
  • Automate what is worth keeping
  • Integrate where integration creates value
  • Consolidate what has quietly duplicated
  • Eliminate what no longer earns its place
  • Replace technology only when the technology is the problem

Automating a broken process gets you a faster broken process.

03

Build

Build the infrastructure and systems the new design requires. This is where the design becomes infrastructure that people log into on Monday.

What actually happens

  • Network architecture and infrastructure
  • Cloud and identity
  • Security and endpoints
  • Servers and applications
  • CRM and communications
  • Backup, continuity and monitoring
  • Automation and AI where they earn their place

Built to the design, not to the brochure.

04

Connect

Make the organization function as a system rather than a collection of departments.

What actually happens

  • Sales to operations
  • Marketing to sales
  • Sales to production
  • Production to fulfillment
  • Fulfillment to accounting
  • HR to operations
  • Leadership to all of it

The objective isn’t to integrate every system. It’s to make the information flow correctly.

05

Operate

This is the part most consulting leaves behind. We stay in it.

What actually happens

  • Monitor infrastructure, security and performance
  • Measure the operational metrics that matter
  • Document the system as it changes
  • Train the people who use it
  • Catch anomalies before they become incidents
  • Surface opportunities as they appear

A system nobody maintains decays back into the thing you hired us to fix.

06

Evolve

The operational system is never finished. Markets change, employees change, technology changes, customers change, competitors change, regulations change.

What actually happens

  • Revisit the design against what the business has become
  • Retire what stopped earning its place
  • Adopt what has genuinely improved
  • Keep steering, continuously

We’re not setting a course and coming back in six months. We’re constantly correcting the heading.

The loop

The cycle repeats. The system is never finished.

This is the difference between an operating partner and a consultant. One ends with a document. The other never quite ends.

What it’s actually like

From the first call to the first thing that changes.

Most firms describe a methodology and leave you to guess what working with them feels like. Here is the sequence, what you get at each point, and what we need from you.

First call
30 minutes

We find out whether this is worth doing

No deck, no discovery-call script. You describe what isn’t working; we tell you what is actually causing it and what it takes to fix. Sometimes that is managed IT. Sometimes it is the operating design underneath it. We do both.

What we need from you: an hour of nobody’s time but yours, and a straight answer about whether leadership will act on what we find.

Discovery
2–4 weeks

We interview the people who do the work

Not just leadership — the people whose actual day the process happens in. Short sessions, scheduled around the operation rather than through it. In parallel we map the technology, the information flow, the dependencies and the costs.

Fixed fee, agreed before we start. No hourly meter, no scope creep.

What we need from you: access to people for 30–45 minutes each, and read access to the systems. Nothing gets changed in this phase.

The Map
Delivered & walked

You get the Operational Map, and we walk you through it

How your business actually works, drawn: people, processes, systems, information flow, dependencies, waste, friction, duplication, risk, and the opportunities we found. Including the ones you already suspected and the ones you didn’t.

The map is yours whether or not you continue. It is a deliverable, not a sales document.

What we need from you: two hours to be walked through it, with whoever can make decisions in the room.

Design & build
Scoped from the map

We fix things in the order that pays

Scoped, priced and sequenced from what the map found — not from a package we sold you before we understood the business. Usually something visible changes early, because discovery almost always surfaces a leak worth closing immediately.

What we need from you: a decision-maker, and the willingness to let a process change.

Operate
Ongoing

We stay accountable for what we built

Monitored, measured, documented, maintained and improved. This is the part most consulting leaves behind, and it is the part that decides whether any of the earlier work survives contact with a normal year.

What we need from you: the same thing we needed at the start — a business that wants to keep getting better.

If something in that sequence does not fit how your business runs, say so on the first call and we will shape it around you.

That first call is thirty minutes and costs nothing.

Let’s talk about it →
The next step

Start with the thirty-minute call.

No deck, no discovery-call script. You describe what isn’t working; we tell you what is actually causing it and what it takes to fix. Thirty minutes, no charge, and you leave knowing what is actually wrong.
